“Be still and know that I am God”
Psalm 46 verse 10
We live in a crazy world. Our time is so often consumed by planning and worrying about circumstances that are outside of our control that we forget to stop, breathe and rest in the presence of our Creator. It is God alone who can provide true comfort, peace, strength and joy.
I pray that Be Still and Know is a place in which we may all find encouragement and be uplifted.
About my beliefs
I believe that the entire universe is created and sustained by one all-powerful, all-knowing and ever-present God who has revealed Himself to us through His Word, the Bible.
I believe that because of His great love for us, God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to show us how to live. Although perfect and without sin, Christ was killed. But, he was raised to life again.
I believe that through Christ's willing sacrifice and the grace of our God, we may have our sins forgiven and the hope of eternal peace and joy in the kingdom that will be established on this earth.
I believe that to be a part of this kingdom we must seek out the truth, turn to God, repent and obey His word. We must live each day for our God, looking forward to his son's soon return to this earth.
